Exercise science student concerned about the environment and sustainability. Support me to Climb-it for Climate in 2015 with the AYCC.

About me

I'm a first year exercise and sport science student. When I’ve completed my course I’m hoping to work as a physiotherapist. I love being outdoors, especially camping. Growing up I spent a lot of time camping and bushwalking with my family. This fostered a great appreciation for the environment and drive to protect the nature I love so much. I also love travelling and exploring new places. I really enjoy reading and broadening my horizons through books. I am quite creative and like expressing this through many mediums, whether it is drawing, cooking or painting.

Why I'm joining Climb-it for Climate in 2015

When I heard about Climb-it for Climate I thought it would be an awesome opportunity to meet other young people with similar views to me and embark on an incredible journey with them to promote sustainability. I hope by undertaking this challenge I can learn more about the effects climate change is having on our global environment and ways that I can personally help to reduce this effect. I also hope that I can encourage and inspire other people to do the same while raising funds to support sustainability projects in our local and global community.
