About me

I am a passionate advocate for climate action with a strong interest in science. My other major interest is in contemporary dance and after completing year 12 in Adelaide I moved to Perth to study at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Here I had the opportunity to perform in Europe and Asia as well as for the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. Since graduating I have continued to engage with the professional dance sector in Perth. I have just started studying physics and engineering and am excited to begin following my academic interests and continue dancing.

Why I'm joining Climb-it for Climate in 2015

I have been a supporter of AYCC since high school, but due to my focus on dance I have had limited opportunities to pursue this further. Now that I am available, the trip seems to be the perfect opportunity to do something that I believe in and to assist the organisation that I have supported from the sidelines. The chance to witness first hand the effects of climate change, and to raise money to increase awareness for them, is something too valuable to miss.
